You will need to “Love” what you’ll do!That being said, you need to find a product or service that you would Love promoting and that gets you excited! Never start a home based business only for the Love of “Money”, Ever, or you will fail sooner or later!A business runs on the Love, excitement and joy which naturally motivates you when you will be promoting and selling a product or service, and “then”, only then, it runs on Money! Money must always come in 2nd place to really succeed!Bill Gates Loved to create software, Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of Facebook Loved creating a social network from a school project. All Millionaires or Billionaires “Loved” first and put the Money aspect behind their minds, and that is the main reason they became so successful. And here’s the scoop: If you Love whatever you do, you will succeed at it, and the Money will simply follow. It’s not Magic! Money is the result of “Loving” what you do. The other way around, success is never the result of Money! There are exceptions to this rule but they only make up for a fraction of the successes from People loving what they do.Sure, a home based business must be treated as a business because it “is” a business above all but it is the person running this business that makes it successful in making money. If you would like to do business online, ask yourself, “what would make me happy in a home based business online/offline. “what will excite me most about the business itself”?”what product or service”?Once you find those answers, success awaits you in a home based business and you will be almost guaranteed to make money online! Home Based Business Rules
When running a home based business, everyone wants to be successful. For the most part, being successful in a home based business takes a good product, good customer service and following a few simple rules. Before you know it, your home based business will be more successful than you ever dreamed.
Rule number one involves those who quit just as the business is really starting to take off. Things progress slowly for home based business and it may seem like you’re making no progress. However, sticking it out just one more day — every day — will lead to your home based business success.
It’s important to separate you from your business. In other words, you don’t want your business to be dependent upon you or vice versa. If you have to take some time off and hand the controls over to someone else, you don’t want the business to suffer. Therefore, it’s important to separate your personal self from your business self.
The next rule requires removing perceived or real limitations from your business. If you think you can do it, then you can. Illegal processes and products obviously cannot be done, but just because others doubt you is not a reason to not try. While you may fail, you should consider your failure an experience leading to your success.
In home based business as well as in life, it’s important to be careful for you wish for, as your wish may come true. Setting goals involves getting your entire self involved in the process. When you set a goal, you are usually successful. It is when you begin to doubt your ability that you will begin to fail.
Whether or not others are succeeding where you are trying to be, don’t let that stand in your way. While others may not have the drive or motivation that you have, you can succeed where others have fallen simply by continuing on and not being distracted by the things going on around you.
Another rule also is true in home based business as it is in life. You cannot make someone else’s choices or decisions for them, so you should not let others make your decisions and choices for you. Follow what you believe in and you will be successful.
Make sure you’re reading the fine print in contracts and other documents before you finalize them. One little tiny typo on your sales letter may result in a catastrophic failure of your business and one missed fine print statement may result in something that will bring your home based business crashing down around you.
And a final rule, make sure you give credit where credit is due. If you had help, make sure everyone knows who helped you and how much you appreciate them. By acknowledging the achievements of others, you show your character and belief in others as much as your belief in yourself. By sharing the credit for a job well done, you show your are willing to work as a team to reach a successful conclusion.
Stay at Home Jobs and Home Based Businesses – Dream Come True or Nightmare?
Stay at home jobs and home based businesses have never had as much appeal as they have today. Chucking the nine-to-five grind to stay at home is a dream that appeals to most of us. Really, you think, what’s not to like about not having to dress up, fight traffic, and endure bosses who lean over your shoulder every minute of the day? It’s easy to think a stay at home job or a home based business would be a dream come true, and for many people it is. Realistically, though, a stay at home job is just like any other job–you have to actually to work. And statistics show that people who have stay at home jobs and home based businesses generally work more hours per day than their counterparts who work in conventional businesses. One problem that many people who work at stay at home jobs or who have home based businesses run into is what’s often referred to as “feast or famine syndrome.” They find their workflow is either too low or too high; in other words, they either have a lot to do or nothing. This makes it hard for people to budget their time and their money, and is especially hard for people just beginning stay at home jobs or home based businesses. It takes time to develop a steady base of clients for stay at home businesses, and even then there will be many times where everyone wants your product and/or service at the same time. This can be very stressful when there’s only one person, you, to do everything. So if you’re planning on starting a stay at home job or home based business, it’s good to have a plan in place to help you deal with what can often be a roller coaster workload. The feast or famine syndrome of a stay at home job or business leads to another difficulty. When you’re feasting, you’re making money–when you not feasting, you aren’t. It’s hard. One week you’re raking in the money, and the next week you’re barely squeaking by. This is where a stay at home job or home based business can, again, be more stressful than a conventional job where you’re paid on schedule and know exactly how much you’ll be bringing in every month. To deal with this, first of all, you need to have some money in the bank before leaving your regular job for a stay at home job or to start a home based business–or to focus on that stay at home job or home based business that you’ve been working at part-time. Experts recommend that you have enough money saved to cover six months of expenses before leaving your job for any reason. This is especially important for people who want to stay at home and work or to start a home based business because it can greatly reduce the stress that comes with feast or famine syndrome and give you some much needed breathing room.Too, people who have a stay at home job or home based business often run into payment problems. You’ve done your work or provided your service and product, but you don’t get paid. Collection can be a nightmare when this happens. And what many people don’t know when they become stay at home workers or owners of home based businesses is that people who hire you may classify you as an independent contractor and pay you as far out as 90 days. To make sure you don’t run into payment issues, always get everything in writing. It’s hard to wait 90 days to get paid, but it’s even harder not to get paid at all and perhaps have to turn to a collection agency in order to get your money. Because many stay at home jobs and home based businesses are Internet-based, you need to take special precautions to know you’re dealing with reputable businesses with a good track record of payment. So do your homework and get all payment terms in writing before providing any stay at home work or home based business product or service. The headaches and stress this will save you is immeasurable–and ensures you’re more likely to believe that your stay at home job or home based business really is your dream come true.Charles Fuchs
